I think every muslim knows the notorious line from Surah Baqarah

لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا

Allah SWT does not burden any soul with more than they can bear

And this line from Surah Rahman that Allah swt repeats 31 times

فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

Then which of your Lord’s favors will you deny?

Pain and Grief cannot be rationalized, they can only be felt and lived through

Living through it means that you will go through waves of acceptance, neutrality, despair, anger, hopelessness, the lots

some moments feel hopeless and some moments fly by

Regardless of our feelings, we have to remind ourselves that everything we experience in this life is something God granted to us, not something we were entitled to

Through all of those emotions we need these constant grounding reminders

I can’t give you the answer, the logic, the reason why whatever happened to you had to happen

but one thing I have accepted is that we all belong to God before we belong to each other

We are not entitled to wealth, health, success, tangible things, nor people

Everyone belongs to God before we belong to each other

and God can take away anyone at any second for any reason

It makes me think, love is choosing to love someone, not just disregarding their flaws, not just when it is hard, but even after accepting that they might not be in your life forever

There’s something pure and real about loving someone in the moments that you can, because you can and you make the intention and want to

There’s very few people in this world that would choose to do that regardless of death or circumstance

In Bangla we don’t have a word for “love”
