Hi, my name is Saima. I’m a web developer. I like building fun and reusable UI components. Currently building Blox UI.
BloxUI is an open-source React component library that gives product teams and developers a fast way to ship expressive interfaces. Built with Motion, TailwindCSS, and shadcn/ui, it offers polished, customizable components — text effects, highlights, borders, navigation patterns, and more — that are accessible and themeable. It's published on npm as @sahmed2528/blox-ui and is already used across 5 live production projects.
DMV Muslims Read is a local book club website I designed and built for a community of 50+ members. Built with Next.js and React, it includes book listings, event signups, and member features, with content managed through the Notion API. It's hosted on GitHub Pages with a GitHub Actions deployment workflow.
DevMetrics is a self-hosted engineering (MERN) analytics platform that connects to your GitHub account to surface meaningful insights about your coding patterns — PR cycle time, review turnaround, commit frequency, and more. Built with React, Node, Express, and MongoDB, it pulls data through the GitHub REST API and presents it through interactive charts for commit cadence, language breakdown, and streaks.
This portfolio is built with Next.js, TailwindCSS, and Motion, using a collection of reusable components I designed that can be customized via props. Content is managed and fetched through Strapi headless CMS over GraphQL, so I can scale and update it efficiently. I deployed it on Netlify and Strapi Cloud with a CI/CD pipeline built on GitHub Actions.
